A peroxynitrite decomposition catalyst (Fe-TPPS) decreases LPS-induced priming of the NLRP3 inflammasome. Fibroblasts were pretreated with Fe-TPPS (25 μM) or vehicle for 30 min and subsequently challenged with LPS (1 μg) for 6 h.
