The iterative flow of communication during this project is depicted. ¹EALG = Expert Anishinaabemwin Language Group consisting of older adults fluent in the Anishinaabe language and advanced in cultural and traditional knowledge. ²“Two-eyed Seeing” was the guiding principle of the research wherein the issue is examined from the strengths of Indigenous Knowledge as well as Western knowledge and ways of knowing. ³Focus group review completed via a panel of seven health professionals familiar with both dementia and the First Nations clients of Manitoulin region.
