MAT ameliorated the severity of EAE. EAE was induced in female C57BL/6 mice by MOG35-55 + CFA. Mice received MAT treatment (150 mg/kg in 100 μl normal saline per day, i.p. injection) from day 7 to day 19 p.i., and mice that received the same volume of saline served as control. (A) Clinical score was monitored as described in the “Materials and Methods” section. Data represent mean clinical score ± SD (n = 10 mice per group). Mice were sacrificed on day 19 p.i., and spinal cords were harvested after extensive perfusion.
