Comparative efficiency of hybridization methods. (A) Comparison of LFD results by different hybridization methods. In Method I (post-LAMP), LAMP products from probe-free reactions of 1 pg, 100 fg, 10 fg and 1 fg Mtb-DNA templates were hybridized with the conventional probe for 5 min followed by LFD the assay. In Method II (in-LAMP), LAMP reactions containing the modified probe were carried out to completion and immediately subject to LFD assay. Both hybridization methods shared identical sensitivity.
