PVT recurrence with or without maintenance treatment (a) The group of patients with maintenance treatment experienced more recurrence events when Child–Pugh scores were >8 than when Child–Pugh scores were ≤8; this difference was statistically significant (P = 0.023). There was no significant difference between groups with and without maintenance treatment. (be) No significant differences were found between the groups with ALBI ≤−1.7 and >−1.7, FIB-4 ≤7.0 and FIB-4 >7.0, plasma AT-III ≥60% and <60%, or blood platelet ≥8.0 × 104/μL and <8.0 × 104/μL. (f) A pretreatment PVT volume ≥3.0 mL was a statistically significant factor for recurrence (P = 0.039) in the group without maintenance treatment. The PVT volume with maintenance treatment was not statistically significant.
