2 Hz EA treatment reversed the SNI-induced up-regulation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the spinal cord. (A) Relative levels of BDNF mRNA expression (n = 4 per group). SNI increased BDNF protein expression in the spinal cord, which was attenuated by 2 Hz EA treatment.
