Three weeks of SIT increased power at exhaustion but not VO2max. Individuals were either treated with vitamins (black symbols; n = 10) or placebo (white symbols; n = 8). Data from each individual (●,○) and mean data (±SD; ▲,Δ). Two-way repeated measures ANOVA showed a significant training effect for maximal power in both groups (#, p < 0.05; ## p < 0.01); no training effect for VO2max or difference between groups for any measurement was observed.
