Roles of Tip60 in cancer metabolism. Tip60 influences cell fate in metabolic adaptations of cancer cells indirectly by impacting on transcriptional activities of c-Myc, hypoxia inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) and p53. Tip60 contributes to the metabolic plasticity of cancer cells upon metabolic stress by inducing the activities of glycolytic and gluconeogenic enzymes directly.
