For two source signals, example subject-level maps and intra-class correlation coefficient maps based on dual regression and template ICA applied to scans of duration T = 1200. The overall weighted image ICC is reported below each ICC map. The IC estimates produced using template ICA are much less noisy than those produced using dual regression. More importantly, they are also substantially more reliable at the subject level based on ICC. This indicates that template ICA is able to reliably identify subject-level features, in addition to reducing the effects of noise.
