Adult cardiomyocytes express ErbB2 and ErbB4. Expression of all ErbB receptors, including ErbB1, ErbB2, ErbB3, and ErbB4, has been demonstrated on cardiac endothelial cells, fibroblasts, and highly proliferative cells.
