mTORC2 signaling. Shown are the evolutionarily conserved components of mTORC2, with SIN1 occluding the active site of mTOR. Activation of mTORC2 probably involves displacement of SIN1 from the active site of mTOR, thereby allowing access to the substrates and their phosphorylation.
