Photodynamic therapy using talaporfin sodium (TS-PDT) caused depolymerization of the microtubules and the formation of F-actin stress fibers in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), as shown by immunostaining and confocal microscopy. HUVECs were subjected to TS-PDT or pretreated with combretastatin A4 3-O-phosphate (CA4P) for 1 h, as indicated. (a) The microtubules were stained with an anti-tubulin antibody (green) and the nuclei were visualized (blue).
