In general, healthy subjects can be statistically distinguished from periodontitis patients for all targets except A. actinomycetemcomitans and S. sobrinus, the most prominent being P. gingivalis, T. forsythia and C. rectus. A difference between caries and periodontitis groups can only be seen for S. mutans.
