Piperine treatment mitigates CEA production. In group-II, the CEA level was increased significantly (*** p < 0.001) as compared to control group. Treatment with Piperine (30 and 60 mg/kg b. wt.) significantly attenuated CEA level in group III (## p < 0.01) and group IV (### p < 0.001) as compared to group II (n = 10).
