Effects of TRPA1 and TRPV3 inhibition on pine WSPM–induced cytotoxicity. Lobar HBEC viability was assayed after 24 hours of treatment with pine WSPM (20 μg/cm2), in the presence of A967079 (20 μM, gray bars) or the TRPV3 antagonist (10 μM, black bars). Data were normalized against the vehicle control and are presented as means ± S.D. for n = 3 replicates. *P < 0.05; ****P < 0.0001 compared with vehicle treated cells without an antagonist, ####P < 0.0001 compared with pine WSPM treatment without antagonists using an ordinary two-way ANOVA and the Dunnett post-test.
