Proposed mechanism for the regulation of ERS by TRPA1 and TRPV3 in HBECs. WSPM activates TRPA1 and TRPV3 to cause calcium influx and ER calcium release. High intracellular calcium may sensitize/activate TRPV3 on the ER to promote ER calcium release to drive robust ERS responses.
