The interventricular communication is doubly committed, bisected by the prominent outlet septum (green star). However, the potential pathway to the relatively larger pulmonary root is larger than that to the small aortic root with subaortic narrowing. There is a stent within the patent arterial duct seen entering the distal pulmonary trunk in this patient with a hypoplastic transverse aortic arch, coarctation of the aorta and ductal-dependent systemic arterial blood flow.
