Tragal divot to prevent blunting. A, A pretragal trough or divot is created by excising a 2 × 1 cm piece of pre-parotid fascia adjacent to the tragus (red arrow). The area of the skin flap that will now reside in the preauricular area is thinned and sutured to the depth of the newly created trough.
