(A) Quadriceps muscle that has been freshly dissected and rinsed with PBS prior to transfer to a 10 cm dish. 1 mL of plating media has been overlaid for processing. (B) Quadriceps muscle tissue pieces after transfer to pre-coated 6-cm plate. (C) 6-cm plates inside moist chamber prior to placement in the 37 °C incubator.
