Survival according to circulating tumor cell morphology from immediately after the lung cancer resection. N, not detected; S, only single circulating tumor cell (CTC) detected; C, cluster CTCs were detected. The 2-year recurrence-free survival (RFS) rates were 94.6% for Group N, 62.5% for Group S, and 52.9% for Group C (P<0.01) (A). The 2-year overall (OS) survival rates were 96.5% for Group N, 80.0% for Group S, and 82.5% for Group C (P=0.02) (B).
