CAP inhibits the migration of endothelial cells. HDMEC were seeded in cell culture inserts with 8 µm pores. A VEGF gradient was established over the membrane. The number of migrated cells was determined after 6 h of incubation (A). HDMEC were treated with CAP or argon carrier gas before performing the migration assay with VEGF (B).
