Effects of auransterol on intrinsic-apoptosis pathway in HT-29 colon cancer cells, (A) Effects on mitochondrial transmembrane potential (MTP). Cells were treated with auransterol (0–50 μM) for 24 h and protein concentration was determined for Western blot analysis. Paclitaxel was used as positive control (0.01 μM). Data are expressed as the means ± SEM (n = 3) and analyzed by one-way ANOVA using Dunnett’s multiple-comparison test (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.01) of three independent assays.
