Figure 4

A 22-year-old patient with ovarian cancer and retroperitoneal involvement who underwent duodenal metal stent placement. (A) Positron emission tomography-computed tomography performs before the procedure revealed a tumor infiltrating into the retroperitoneum, which causes an obstruction of the junction of the second and third portions of the duodenum (black arrow). The tumor is distant from aorta and the soft tissue around it is also tumor free. (B and C) The patient develops a massive hematemesis 6 months after the stenting procedure. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography scan reveals an active contrast medium leakage between the duodenum and the aorta near the stent (white arrow and arrowhead).
