TASK‐1 channel abundance in endothelium‐denuded arteries of two age groups. (a) Relative expression levels of Kcnk3 pore‐forming subunit mRNA in arteries from adult (n = 8) and young (n = 9) rats. Data are normalized to the geometric mean of Rn18s and Gapdh. (b) Protein content of TASK‐1 pore‐forming subunit in arteries from adult (n = 7) and young (n = 6) rats. Data are normalized to loading control (determined by Ponceau S staining). The median value of TASK‐1 mRNA or protein content in the adult group is taken as 100%.
