Light micrographs of hematoxylin-eosin stained liver sections from control (a) and TAA-treated (b) rats. The histology studies of the control liver showed the normal histological appearance of liver tissue with central vein and portal area (a), whereas TAA-treated liver section revealed widespread intracellular vacuolization, centrilobular bridging hepatocellular necrosis, and infiltration of inflammatory cells (b).
