Schematic illustration of experimental process. Bronchial washing (BW) samples are injected into an Exo-Disc. Upon spinning the disc, the liquid flow through the filter that is in tangential direction with the centrifugal force minimizing the clogging issue. The extracellular vesicles (EVs) are enriched on top of the filter by size-based isolation and the flow-through liquid is used to analyze the EV-excluded cell free DNA.
