(A) PCR amplification using PerkITS 750/85 primers. Positive results showed a clear band at 703 bp. (B) RFLP pattern produced with HinfI (lines 1–7) and RsaI (lines 8–14). Lines 1, 2 and 8, 9 were done with DNA from P. olseni negative clams; lines 7 and 14 are PCR negative controls (water instead of DNA). All RFLPs showed a clear pattern corresponding to P. olseni species. Line M: 100 bp DNA ladder.
