Airway BCG priming of boost vaccination has no marked effect on the proportions of cytokine producing subsets. Cytokine⁺ T cells derived from the spleen, lung vasculature and lung parenchyma, as described in Figs. 2 and 4, were subdivided into subsets producing the different simultaneous combinations of IFN-γ, IL-2 and TNF-α.
