Ginkgo extract synthesized silver nanoparticles (GB-AgNPs) induce apoptosis in cervical cancer cells. (A) HeLa and SiHa cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of 40 nm GB-AgNPs for 24 h and stained with Hoechst 33258. Typical apoptotic morphology was observed in treated cells compared to untreated cells; (B) Cells were treated as in (A) for 24 h, apoptotic cells were stained by PI/annexin-V, and flow cytometry was performed.
