Above a probability of approximately 2%, the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) is minimally affected by the prevalence of STI among patients presenting to pediatric emergency departments for acute care. Below a probability of 2%, the ICER increases steeply. The base case value is 3.6%.
