Quantification of Zn ions released by ZnO nanoparticles in the dialysis devices at pH 3 to 7 at 4°C. The pH levels were adjusted using 10% (vol/vol) lactic acid. Dialysate samples of Zn ions were collected and then analyzed by using inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) after 24 h (A) and 48 h (B). The results are presented as means and SD from three independent experiments. Data were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA, followed by the post hoc Tukey’s test for multiple comparisons.
