Detection of CatG activity on the cell surface of immune cells. PBMCs were stained with the indicated specific antibodies as mentioned in the method section. Cell populations (B cells, NK cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, eosinophils, and neutrophils) were gated by their cell surface expression and CatG activity. Control samples were treated with the CatG inhibitor (CatGinh.), 12.5 or 50 μM, and SucVPF, 50 μM. Values are expressed as normalized intensity ± S.E.M. and significance was calculated by Student’s t-test between two groups (P < 0.1 = * and p < 0.0001 = ****). Technical replicates n = 3 from the same donor.
