AST and ALP were measured at the time of maximum value of ALT or GGT in patients with liver injury, and at presentation in patients without liver injury. AST: aspartate aminotransferase. Since the upper limit of normal was different in male (64 U/L) and female (34 U/L), serum values of GGT adjusted as xULN were used for the analysis.
