The bars are the means and SD of three biological replicates in which the number of cells that accumulated in a reference capillary was subtracted from that of the test capillary. The numbers above the bars represent the means and SDs of the chemotaxis ratio, where the number of cells that accumulated in the test capillary were divided by the number of cells that accumulated in a reference capillary.
