Movie 2.
Coronary artery dilatation and decreased ventricular ejection fraction in a 9-year-old boy with a recent history of COVID-19 who was diagnosed with new-onset hypotension, kidney disease, and elevated troponin and D-dimer levels. Horizontal long-axis US cine clip shows decreased left ventricle systolic function— fractional shortening by 25% and ejection fraction of 48% (determined by the 5/6 AL method; z: –3.22). Coronary artery dilatation was also evident at the examination (not shown). (Movie courtesy of Misra Nilanjana, MD, Northwell Health, New Hyde Park, NY.)
