Effect of apigenin on chromatin condensation in melanoma cells (A375P, A375SM). (A) A375P and A375SM cells were treated with apigenin (0, 50, 100 µM) in DMEM and MEM supplemented with 5% FBS for 24 h and cells were stained with DAPI. The arrows indicate chromatin condensation in melanoma cells. Scale bar, 10 µm. (B) Apoptotic cells were counted under a light microscope and apoptosis rate was expressed as the percentage of apoptotic cells in five random fields. Data are presented as the mean ± standard deviation from three independent experiments.
