The proportion of atypically aligned reads (minimum mapping quality of 10) prevented from aligning to the human reference genome (GRCh37) by the incorporation of a bacterial decoy sequence in the genomic alignment. The use of the decoy had minimal effect in ERX1462737, a sample with significant plant contamination, and SRX2830684, a genome with very low levels of bacterial contamination.
