Schematic showing the treatment groups and temporal sequence of experimental procedures. Female sheep were treated prenatally (GD 30–90) with vehicle (C, n = 10 female fetuses), T (T, n = 6 female fetuses), T and flutamide (TF, n = 6 female fetuses), or T and rosiglitazone (TR, n = 6 female fetuses). At GD 90, pregnant ewes were euthanized and blood samples from the uterine artery (maternal) and umbilical artery (fetal) were collected for LH determination. Fetal pituitary tissues were harvested, snap-frozen, and processed for Western blot analysis
