WT C57BL/6 mice were pretreated with αGC or OCH and then received ISO (5 mg/kg per day) only once. a HE staining and Masson’s trichrome staining were performed, and the fibrotic area/LV percentage (b) and ratio of heart weight to body weight (c) were calculated. Whole-heart lysates were subjected to multiplex immunoassays to determine the protein concentrations of IL-6 (d), IFN-γ (e), and TNF-α (f).
