Gene expression of ferredoxin reductase (FDXR) variants in human blood from 10 healthy donors after X-ray irradiation ex vivo (A) and at endogenous level (B). Blood from five women and five men was exposed to a range of x-ray doses (0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 Gy; dose rate 0.5 Gy/min) and incubated for 24 h at 37 °C. The data are presented as mean values ± standard error of the mean (SEM). One-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s test was performed for statistical analysis.
