Gene expression profiles of PR1, PR2, and PR3 of Japanese radish plant in ASM-treated and untreated systemic leaves. Forth leaves of 3-week-old Japanese radish plants were treated with ASM (100 ppm) or water as a control. After 4 h expression of PR1 (A), PR2 (B), and PR3 (C) in the ASM-treated fourth leaves, and the untreated systemic upper (fifth) and lower (third) leaves were determined using real-time quantitative reverse transcription-PCR (RT-qPCR) with gene-specific primer sets. Expression was normalized using glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH). Vertical bars indicate the SE for three biological replicates. Asterisks indicate a significant difference from the water control in a t-test (*p < 0.05; **p < 0.01).
