The number of suitable months a year for malaria transmission during the period 1950-2017, as determined by combinations of temperature, rainfall, and humidity, are increasing predominantly in the African highlands (ie, elevation >=1500 m). No change or subtle declines in environmental suitability are observed in other regions.
