Pharmacological treatments modify breathing rate during acute hypoxia. “Declined breathing rate” (between 10 and 15 min after the onset of hypoxia) data is presented for 129B6F1 mice treated with saline and various concentrations of the indicated drugs 1 h before exposure to hypoxia.
