Statistically significant (* p < 0.05) concentrations are based on non-parametric tests of the means. The dotted line at 200 μg/kg in figure A indicates the codex maximum limit for As in rice. Other elements were below the codex standards set for Pb (200 μg/kg in cereal grains and pulses) and Cd (100 μg/kg in cereals/pulses and 400 μg/kg in polished rice).
