The AMPK/mTOR/ULK1 signaling pathway activation in SH-SY5Y cells with apelin-13 treatment. SH-SY5Y cells were treated with apelin-13 (10−11 mol/L ~ 10−9 mol/L) at the indicated dose. (A–E) Western blot was applied to detect the phosphorylated and total AMPKα, mTOR, and ULK1. The ratios of p-AMPK/AMPK and p-ULK1/ULK1 were increased dose-dependently; the ratio of p-mTOR/mTOR was decreased dose-dependently in cells with apelin-13 treatment, when compared with the control group.
