Mechanism of action of topically applied ripasudil involves suppression of local angiogenesis. Topical administration of the ROCK inhibitor ripasudil suppressed the local upregulation of proangiogenic factors and promoted graft re-epithelization, resulting in the reduction in circulating immune responses.
