Amplitude, phase, spatial mode, polarisation and spectral/temporal degrees of freedom can all be independently addressed simultaneously through the programming of the spatial light modulator. Ninety spatial/polarisation modes can be independently controlled over 4.4 THz at a resolution of ~15 GHz, making a total of ~26,000 spatiospectral modes. Source, time reversed and target fields have polarisation components illustrated spatially separated for clarity, but are co-located.
