(a) Schematic diagram of experimental setup of shear-detached cells on HUVEC monolayer. (b) Fluorescence images of adhesion behavior of uncoated or anti-ICAM1 coated MSCs (GFP+) on untreated or TNFα-treated HUVECs (calcein-red staining) under shear flow. The anti-ICAM1 coated cells were treated with 0.1mM or 1mM ester-biotin, respectively. Cell adhesion behavior was observed before and after shear (3dyne/cm2). The scale bar is 100 μm.
