(b–d) ⁸⁹Zr-SPION disperssion in de-ionized water with [Fe] = 0.001 mM, 0.1 mM and 3 mM, respectively. (e) The full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the line spread function (LSF) calculated for each PET scan to assess the impact of magnetized SPIONs on spatial resolution. The activity of ⁸⁹Zr in each phantom was kept constant, A₀ = 3.7 kBq.
