Histologic features of CEPs. Most CEPs are composed of a dominant population of chief cells that have round to elongate, relatively uniform nuclei and moderate eosinophilic cytoplasm. The chief cells are arranged in organoid or Zellballen pattern. A subset of CEPs demonstrate a gangliocytic (#17) or a ganglioneuromatous component (#7 and #9).
